Welcome to the home page of the Kansas Branch of ShadowLore. ShadowLore is a network and group for vampires, donors, otherkin, fae, elves, dragons, therianthropes (were-creatures), and witches to meet and get to know one another. It's about learning to accept each other as individuals and not for what we claim to be. It's about learning to tolerate our difference's while still holding on to our individual beliefs. This is not a roleplaying group. It is divided up into local/state branches to make it easier to meet and get to know others of like mind and interest in your area. The Kansas branch of ShadowLore is operated by Sanguinarius (me). We are seeking members in the state of Kansas. Membership is free; there are no dues to pay. If you are 18 or older (younger people see below*) and live or spend most of your time in Kansas (for instance, if you work in Kansas), click here to go to our Yahoo! discussion group and join the Kansas-Missouri Branch. On your profile, you'll need to have some basic information filled in such as your location (nothing too specific, just city or just your state) and age. To navigate this site, use the menu on the left. Monthly Meet 'n' GreetShadowLore of Kansas hosts a monthly gathering for members to meet and socialize; you don't need to be a member of ShadowLore to come -- anyone who is vampire, otherkin, fae, wiccan, etc or curious or interested is welcome to drop by. It's not anything fancy, just a get-together over coffee or soda pop or whatever. Perhaps we could meet and plan to do other activities such as watching a movie, or something like that. If you're in Kansas and you're interested, then feel free to join the E-group at Yahoo! Check the Vampiric Community Calendar to see what's scheduled. You might also check out Vampires.Meetup.com for vampire meetups in your city or area. There are also meetups for otherkin, witches, and others, so go to the main Meetup site and find a topic that interests you.
